Pacific Crest Trail - Day 10

Pacific Crest Trail - Day 10

Start: Mile 112 - backcountry campsite
End: Mile 119.6 - backcountry campsite

This was our laziest day yet. We took our time getting started and took a nap by Agua Caliente Creek for a couple hours before setting up camp around 4pm.

After hiking 35 miles over the past two days it felt good to take it relatively easy.

The trail was a rocky overgrown mess for most of the day.

First running water in 100+ miles.

I‘m not sure what this plant is, but they’re really pretty. It looks like they have long flowering stalks at some point too.

Kristin thought the couple on the trail mix bag looked like us.

Sasquatch?!

Another campsite on a ridge. It looks and feels like it will probably rain tonight. It’s tough to get a forecast for the mountains high above small towns.
