Pacific Crest Trail - Day 155 - Mt. Washington Wilderness

Start: Mile 1985.3 - McKenzie Pass
End: Mile 2000.3 - Backcountry Campsite

Back at it… starting with 8 miles of lava rock. Woof.

There was a short merciful stretch of dirt trail and forest before heading back out onto lava rock.

Ripe huckleberries growing along the trail in the middle of the lava field.

Life finds a way.

The boundary between lava rock and dirt! A welcome sight for sore feet!

How about just No Campfires at this point.

2000 miles! Feeling pretty accomplished!

That‘s a strange name for an outhouse.
