Pacific Crest Trail - Day 174 - Snoqualmie Pass

Start: Mile 2373.9
End: Mile 2396.3 - Snoqualmie Pass

They had these signs posted on every single tree along the West side of the trail. City watersheds seem to be the most restricted lands in the entire West.

LOL

We pushed pretty hard to knock out the ~24 miles to Snoqualmie Pass and the promise of a bed and pizza. We had lunch at Mirror Lake which was understandably really popular with backpackers.

The first ~16 miles of the day flew by with relative ease, but the final ~8 miles were all rocks and roots and relatively slow going. It never ceases to be the case when all you want is a cruisey well manicured trail into a town you find yourself walking on anything but.

We took a ”shortcut” into town down a run in the Snoqualmie Pass ski area.

There were a ton of beautiful mountains surrounding Snoqualmie Pass - the developer of these fancy new condos pointed all the big windows towards a center parking lot.

Had enough for one day.

The pizza was great.
