We ordered a replacement bug net for Oregon to Dunsmuir, and we’re grateful this guy decided to hang out on the outside instead of jumping inside our failing one.

Castle Crags wasn’t quite as pretty the morning after.

That’s pretty good. These markers are coming faster and faster.

I don’t know whether this is the best flamingo neon on the planet, or whether the flamingo should be standing on one leg.

These two badasses were thinning trees and fuel in the heat at Castle Crags State Park.

The bear box at the PCT camp turned into a de facto hiker box and needed some organizing/cleaning - a lot of discarded ziploc baggies with miscellaneous whiteish powders.

It’s such a privilege being in the wilderness with so service or access to the news.

This sign interestingly used metric units.

Castle Crags is gorgeous from any angle.

We got caught out in an afternoon thunderstorm. Still smiling.
